Candle Snuffer - Rabbit

This candle snuffer is handmade from pewter and detailed to look just like a little woodland rabbit. The vintage finish is timeless and makes it a lovely way to put out candles.

How to use one properly:

1. Hold the handle – Grasp the candle snuffer by its long handle so your hand stays a safe distance from the flame.

2. Position the rabbit – Lower the rabbit end directly over the flame. Don’t press it into the wax; just cover the flame completely.

3. Extinguish the flame – The snuffer deprives the flame of oxygen, so it will go out within a second or two.

4. Lift away gently – Once the flame is out, lift the snuffer straight up. Avoid dragging it through the melted wax.

5. Wipe if needed – Occasionally, soot can build up inside the rabbit. Wipe it clean with a soft cloth after the snuffer cools down.
